Sometimes when we think we’re hungry, it’s really a craving. Ask yourself, what would satisfy that hunger? Eating something from the unlimited vegetable list? Or are you wanting something that you know should be off limits...
Nutrition experts break hunger down into physical hunger and emotional or psychological hunger, in other words, cravings. The first kind means that your body is responding to the need for nourishment (necessary for survival) and the other kind is usually based on how you are feeling. Bored, stressed, tired?
Make sure to check in with yourself, what is it you're really craving? Plan your meals and snack and what time you'll be eating them, and make sure you are getting enough sleep, sometimes bad decisions are made when we're tired.
