Wow, it’s hard to believe that I’ve been with Ideal Protein in one capacity or another since 2013! I started a medical aesthetics business focusing on body treatments in 2012. I had so many clients asking me how to lose weight I started to look around for a solution. A friend told me about a weekly coached program that she had a lot of success with called Ideal Protein. She felt the weekly accountability made a huge difference. After trying out the protocol myself and getting to my goal weight I decided it was something I could really get behind and brought it into my business. 😊
Fast forward a couple of years and the business didn’t end up working out, but as these things happen, it was for the best and I began my 2nd Ideal Protein chapter working for them directly as support for clinics through coach training and business support. I loved it! It was so gratifying working with the weight loss coaches and hearing all the passionate stories from them regarding the success of their clients and even sharing some of their disappointments when it just wasn’t a good fit for someone. Like anything, it’s not for everyone and as coaches we want to make sure everyone has the best experience possible, even if it means finding another solution.
On to Chapter 3! After 7 years of working with clinics for Ideal Protein the business restructured and my position was no longer necessary. But they couldn’t get rid of me that easily… I opened a clinic in Penticton January 2023 and once again it was for the best. I love running the business and being able to work with clients directly and getting to experience firsthand the pleasure of tagging along on some of their wonderful journeys.

I’m Elsa, and I started the Ideal Protein program with a goal of losing 50 pounds due to my doctor's request to qualify for surgery. I needed a program where I could lose weight without exercising due to my knee injury. At the time I was 238 pounds, size 20, and had diabetes. I carried this weight after having my last baby and from neglecting my diet. With the help of my coach, I not only lost the 50 pounds, but I got to my ultimate goal of a 120 pound loss, size 4!
This program was life changing for me. During this time my coach offered me the opportunity to do the training to become a coach, so that I could help others with the same issues I had when I was at my heaviest.
Since then, life has thrown me some curveballs with heath issues, from cancer and a hysterectomy to full blown menopause and thyroid issues, causing my body weight to fluctuate and gaining weight back, but I know this too will pass. On the brighter side, my experiences have helped me learn and be empathetic to what others are going through.
I discovered this program over 15 years ago and I know that this program works 100% when you give it 100%. I have been coaching for over 8 years now, working with all kinds of different clients and I have the understanding that we all have different reasons why we got to this point but with the right guidance it's possible to reach your goal.
